The administration and faculty would like to welcome you to Grimmway Academy.
Grimmway Academy, founded by the Grimm Family Education Foundation in 2011, is an independent public charter school located in the city of Arvin, California. Grimmway Academy is the first charter school in Arvin and was established to offer parents a choice in their children’s education.
The Academy started its first year with grades K-3rd and will be adding a new grade each year until it reaches 6th grade. At full capacity, the school will have a total of 560 students. Grimmway Academy provides quality certified teachers and limits the class size per grade allowing for individualized attention for students. We also encourage parent participation and believe that working together enhances the learning process.
Principal Jose Salas, teachers and staff have coordinated their efforts to offer exciting curriculum for grades K – 3rd. Our classrooms and learning lab are state of the art and we are confident our students will rise to achieve academic excellence at Grimmway Academy.
At Grimmway Academy our goal is to close the achievement gap and strive for at or above grade-level proficiency in core academic studies. We want our students to be successful and believe our school will provide the foundation for success.
